	<p data-start="513" data-end="711">With the festival only weeks away, the conversation was a wonderful chance to highlight the mission and activities of the festival, which continues to bring the community together year after year.</p>
<p data-start="713" data-end="1070">The 16th Annual Jones County Heritage Festival kicks off on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 7PM-10PM* with a <strong><a href="https://jcheritagefestival.com/concert-information/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">concert</a></strong> featuring <strong><a href="https://jcheritagefestival.com/concert-information/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Embers ft. Craig Woolard and opening act Zack Lee Music</a></strong>. Festival-goers can hit the dance floor during the <strong><a href="https://jcheritagefestival.com/cut-the-rug-2025/">Cut the Rug Challenge</a></strong> or simply sit back, relax, and enjoy concessions and beer while the music plays.</p>
<p data-start="1072" data-end="1488">The celebration continues on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 9AM-3PM, beginning with a festive <a href="https://jcheritagefestival.com/parade-info/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>parade</strong></a> from 9AM-10AM. The day will be filled with activities for all ages, including the <strong><a href="https://jcheritagefestival.com/local-entertainment-show/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Local Entertainment Show</a></strong>, hands-on <a href="https://jcheritagefestival.com/heritage-activities/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>heritage activities</strong></a>, <strong><a href="https://jcheritagefestival.com/kayaking/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">kayaking at Brock Mill Pond</a></strong>, local vendors at both the Brock Mill and the Civic Center, amusement rides, and the always-popular <a href="https://jones.ces.ncsu.edu/2022/10/jones-county-4-h-cow-pie-b-i-n-g-o-fundraiser-2025/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Jones County 4-H Cow Pie Bingo</strong></a>.</p>
