On Friday, September 27th, we celebrated our Heritage Festival concert at the vibrant Jones County Civic Center (832 NC Hwy 58 S, Trenton, NC 28585). The evening featured the incredible Band of Oz, with fantastic opening performances by the talented Patrick Bliss and the promising young musician Michael Schott.
Around 300 attendees gathered for an unforgettable night filled with delightful music, tasty concessions, and lively dancing. The concert kicked off with Michael Schott’s energetic set, followed by the captivating sounds of Patrick Bliss, setting the stage perfectly for our headliners, the Band of Oz, who brought the house down with their unforgettable performance.
Amidst the fun, a couple of our enthusiastic committee members took to the dance floor, on the lookout for the couples who were really cutting loose. Two lucky couples were recognized for their fantastic moves and awarded our coveted Cut The Rug trophies, adding an extra layer of excitement to the evening.
The concert was a wonderful opportunity for the Jones County community to come together, relax, and get in the spirit for Saturday's festival. We can’t wait to do it all again next year!
