The Jones County Heritage Festival Parade is a long-standing tradition that brings together local businesses, organizations, schools, churches, clubs, first responders, agricultural groups, and community members to celebrate the heritage of Jones County.

Parade Details

Date: Saturday, September 26th, 2026

Participant Lineup Time: 7:50 AM
Parade Start: 9:00 AM

The parade begins at the Trenton Piggly Wiggly and travels south on NC Highway 58 (Jones Street). It continues onto Market Street (NC Highway 58 South), turns onto Lakeview Street, then onto King Street before ending at the Jones County Board of Education parking lot.

Lineup Location: Trenton Piggly Wiggly (372 NC Hwy 58 N, Trenton, NC 28585)
Parade End Location: Jones County Board of Education (320 W. Jones Street, Trenton, NC 28585)

Entry Information

All parade entries must review the Parade Guidelines and Rules and submit a completed Parade Entry Application.

Entries are reviewed and approved by the Parade Committee. To ensure a safe and enjoyable event for everyone, all participants must:

  • Be appropriate for a family-friendly audience.
  • Follow all parade guidelines and instructions.
  • Complete and sign the Parade Entry Application.
  • Receive approval prior to participating.

The Parade Committee reserves the right to deny or remove any entry that does not comply with festival guidelines.
