Festival Performers

Over the years, our festival has been graced with an array of talented artists, each bringing their unique flair to our stage. Let's take a stroll down memory lane and revisit some of the memorable performances we've had:

In 2015, the crowd swayed to the tunes of Flint Zeigler, setting the tone for years of musical excellence to come.

2016 brought us a double delight with performances by Mark Chestnutt and Bryan Mayer, captivating the audience with their country charm.

After a brief hiatus, Spare Change took the stage in 2019, injecting infectious energy into the festival grounds with their lively performance.

In 2021, Paige King Johnson stole our hearts with her soulful voice, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.

The following year, in 2023, we were treated to a dynamic duo performance by John Norris & Paige King Johnson, with the talented Michael Schott warming up the stage as the opening act.

And now, in anticipation of this year's festivities, we are thrilled to announce that The Band Of Oz will headline our event, promising an unforgettable evening of music and entertainment. Joining them as opening acts are the ever-talented Patrick Bliss and the incomparable Michael Schott.

As we prepare to welcome another stellar lineup of artists, we invite you to join us in celebrating the rich tapestry of musical talent that has graced our festival stages throughout the years. Get ready to dance, sing, and create cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

The Band Of Oz

The Band Of Oz

Formed in the mid-sixties in eastern North Carolina's Grifton area, the Band of Oz, initially named The Avengers, embarked on its musical journey with a group of grammar and junior high school students, ferried around in Ray Houston’s Chevy station wagon with a little red trailer in tow. Evolving over the years, the band transitioned from local school sock hops to club circuits, incorporating a horn section in the late sixties. By 1970, they rebranded as the Band of Oz, with most members hailing from Greenville, NC, and began their full-time musical endeavor in 1976. Over the decades, the band underwent several personnel changes, recorded numerous singles and albums, and maintained a rigorous performance schedule, solidifying their status as beach music icons. In March 2005, Band of Oz owners Keith Houston and David Hicks ushered in a new era, infusing the band with fresh talent to continue their musical legacy.
