About Jones county Heritage Pageant

In 2015, under the direction of Jennifer Powell, we hosted our inaugural 'Little Miss Heritage' pageant. After a brief hiatus, we are thrilled to announce the return of this beloved event to the 2024 Jones County Heritage Festival, now rebranded as the 'Jones County Heritage Pageant' under the direction of Dana Bender.

The aim of this pageant is to provide young women in North Carolina with a platform to showcase their talents, forge new friendships through friendly competition, and, above all, to enjoy themselves! We're excited to see the youth actively participate in festival activities and contribute to our heritage this year and in the years to come!

Jones County Heritage Pageant 2024

On September 28th, 2024, we proudly hosted the first Jones County Heritage Pageant since 2015. Thanks to our dedicated pageant coordinator, Dana Bender, we not only renamed the event but also welcomed at least one participant in every category. The pageant featured an On-Stage Presentation, followed by talent performances, an On-Stage Question, and the crowning ceremony. Participants showcased their talents through dance and song, entertaining over 50 guests in attendance. This year, we had four participants, and we’re confident that numbers will grow in the future. All participants received beautiful crowns, flowers, and sashes as recognition of their efforts. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year!
